I am a communicator. Yes I know, not a surprise. My love of words and talking is, well, exhausting sometimes for those around me. I do get this. I have known this for my whole life - since I was a child and I could see the look on my mother's face as I was telling her about my day, the ENTIRE day minute-by-minute, play-by-play, to present day when I find it impossible to write Facebook posts in less than 50 words. I wouldn't even TRY to Tweet. Limit me to a specific number of words or characters or whatever? Not happening. I am a talker. And I love words. However, there are several words in the English language that I despise using. They are not the usual 4-letter words - those I can muster on occasion. And they aren't the usual sexually explicit words - those I just simply do not use. Here's the list of words I don't like using, some have reasons and some are obvious. Many are construction terms and since I sell construction software, alas, I am forced to slip these into my business conversations. You can almost see me cringe.

caulk
penetration
mold
erect or erection - no reason needed
moist - I really HATE this word
indubitably - no I don't use this very often
joint
pus - as in oozing from a wound
welt
mucous
phlegm
nipple - my 8-year-old LOVES to say this word
fart - see above
butt - see above
zit - see above
pimple - see above
booger - see above
snot - hmmm, pattern, sometimes he uses all 7 in one sentence. Yes gifted, I assure you.
February - come on, no one pronounces it correctly
discharge
poise
puberty
morsel
squat
hose
panties
pantyhose - double whammy, this should just be removed from the dictionary, heck pantyhose themselves should be removed from society
worcestershire - seriously can anyone say this right?
alas - did we travel back in time?
doily - speaking of old
gubernatorial - it starts with guber
titillating - it starts with...
runny - it makes other words gross, i.e. runny eggs, runny nose, etc.
hump
mount
caucus
I am sure this will be an evolving list. Feel free to comment and give me more to add! :)
